I know I've mentioned this before but, since some people still don't get it, here it goes again:

Tailgating me will not make the person in front of me drive faster.

Along the same lines: No matter how close you get to the back of my car while we're waiting for a train, I can't make the train go faster.

I'm not saying that everyone should know everything about American Idol but, wouldn't ya think that even if a newspaper editor didn't know, he/she wouldn't admit he/she didn't know? I mean, it's only the biggest thing on the planet. (Yeah, I'm exaggerating. But still.) All right. I will give him/her a break. It was Bucky Covington they were talking about. But please tell me you've heard of Carrie Underwood. Kelly Clarkson? Uh. Whatever.
