1. If you were walking down the street behind someone and they dropped a $20 bill, would you try to give it back to them or automatically pocket it?
Give it back.

2. If a clerk gives you more change than you were supposed to get what do you do?
I probably wouldn't even notice. I know this is bad, but I never count my change.

3. What would you do if you were saw an old lady or man struggling with a bag of groceries? What if he/she dropped the bag or it busted?
I'd offer to help him/her with it. If it dropped or broke, I'd help pick everything up. If something like a dozen eggs or a bottle of something broke, and if I had the money, I'd offer to replace the item.

WP: Describe the best kiss you've ever had

I'd heard the line "My hopes are so high your kiss might kill me" many times before that night, and I understood what he meant. But I'd never experienced it before. Then, there we were, sitting in his car, looking into each other's eyes. Actually, I couldn't look the whole time. I looked into his beautiful blue eyes, then looked down into my lap. When I dared to look into his eyes again, I almost hoped he wasn't looking at me that way. The anticipation was too much to handle. It was anticipation built up over many years of wanting to kiss him. It was the anticipation coming from the possibility it wouldn't happen. We knew it shouldn't happen, but I didn't care. I prayed that he didn't care either. It seemed as if we'd been looking at each other for hours but it was probably only a minute. Just when I thought I couldn't stand it anymore, he leaned over and I moved closer to him and our lips touched. I know it's a cliche to say I could feel the electricity, but there's no other way to describe his soft lips on mine and how good he tasted and the waves of pleasure that swept through my entire body. But his lips were the only soft part of the kiss. It was hungry, like I hadn't eaten anything in months and was now given a feast to enjoy. I couldn't get enough. Neither could he. I felt as if I was dreaming. How could it be real? Was he really kissing me?

I can't write anymore about this. There just aren't words to describe how I felt. Anything else I said would sound like a bad romance novel. I don't want it to sound cheap because it was the most beautiful, meaningful kiss ever. It was passionate, but sweet. Wild, but gentle. It was everything. Everything.

Theater Thursday

Week 8 - Favorite Things.
Doing things a little different this week due to hectic schedules. Sorry if the questions are a little boring this week.

This week its all about your favorites.

1. If you could watch only one movie for the rest of your life, what would it be?
"When Harry Met Sally ..." although I already have the entire movie memorized. I watch it at least once a month. I just can't help myself.

2. What is your absolute favorite movie soundtrack?
There are so many to choose from! Jesus Christ Superstar, Grease, The Big Chill, The Wizard of Oz, Friends (obscure Elton John reference), Fame ... Just one, huh? I guess I'd have to pick The Big Chill. Of course that could change at any moment when I think of one I like better.

3. What's your favorite movie-time snack?
Popcorn ... now that I can eat it again. Yay!

4. Favorite Actor:
Cary Grant comes to mind because my mom was watching The Philadelphia Story earlier. But let's see ... Hmm? Humphrey Bogart? What? Join the 21st Century, Anne? Okay, okay. George Clooney Kevin Spacey.

5. Favorite Actress:
This century: Sandra Bullock. Of all time: Katharine Hepburn.

6. And last but not least, what is your favorite kind of movie: comedy, drama, action...etc.,???
It's a toss up between romantic comedy and action.

1. What's your favorite Harrison Ford movie? Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. I picked that because I can't decide which of the first three Star Wars movies to choose. Return of the Jedi is my favorite, but I'm not sure if I like him best in it.

3. Have you ever walked out during a movie? I know I did but I can't remember what it was. Must have been really bad.

1. Website?
This may sound strange but ... Google because it takes me anywhere I need to go.
2. Person in the world?
That's a tough one because there are so many people I'd like to spend time with. If I had to pick one, though, I'd pick Steve because he makes me feel good, he's easy to talk to, he makes me think, he listens to me, he helps me with problems ... I could go on but I think you get the idea.
3. Magazine?
Heaven help me, it's People. I guess I have lots of guilty pleasures, and I just can't seem to get enough celebrity gossip.
4. Song/Lyric?
My favorite song of all time is "Layla." Do I really have to give a reason? My current favorite is "Hands Down." ... "My hopes are so high your kiss might kill me." Need I say more?
5. Outfit?
My blue flannel pjs with Tweety Bird on them because they're so comfy. I'd wear 'em to work if I could get away with it. Working from home is so much better because I can wear pjs all day if I want to.

It wasn't really a nick name, but everyone called me Ann Louise until I was about 10. In high school I was called "Sweens," which I HATED! One person called me Annie. If anyone else called me that, I nipped it in the bud because I hate it. He, however, could call me anything he wanted (and still could, although he just calls me Anne now.) One of my neighbors called me Annie Banannie. That was ok, too.

5. Who were your friends back then, are you still friends today?
Mark #1 - We've been friends since kindergarten; still are (A couple of weeks ago we were talking about how long we've been friends. It's cool.)
Mark #2 - We've been friends since second grade; still are (although he never waves to me when I'm walking & he drives by. I think he doesn't recognize me, because the last time we talked in person I weighed about 100 pounds more than I do now. We have talked on the phone a few times, though, so it's not as if he's not waving because he doesn't want to.)
Steve - friends since 9th grade; still are (he's my best friend, whether he knows it or not)
Lisa, Michelle - We're not as close as we were, but I still consider us friends
Sue - same as Lisa & Michelle, but I see her more often
Laura - friends since 9th grade; we're not real close, but she gave me a great deal on my nifty new 'puter
MeMe & Lucy - same as Lisa & Michelle except I've known Lisa & Michelle since kindergarten & MeMe & Lucy since 9th grade
Rene - I don't even remember how long we've been friends. I think it was before kindergarten. Long time! Now her parents live next door to me & she lives just down the street.
Diane - she moved away; don't know what happened to her
Patty - she died when we were 8.
6. What did you want to be when you grew up?
A writer. How 'bout that? I did it! I also wanted to be a pharmacist ... until I found out how much math was involved. I wanted to be a lawyer, too ... until I found out how much studying was involved. I'm rethinking the lawyer thing, though. GSG gave me a little insight into law school, and now I think I can do it.
7. Did you believe in the 'boogey monster' or any other kind of scary things?
This is weird ... way weird. Then again, it may not seem weird to people who went to Catholic school. I was afraid of nuns. I remember trying to get to sleep one night & thinking I heard someone coming up the stairs. I thought it was nuns & I was terrifed.
8. Did you have a security blanket, toy, teddy bear...that you just couldn't be without?
I had a security blanket that I carried everywhere until I started school. Even then, I had little pieces of it I'd carry in my pocket almost everywhere.
9. Who was your hero?
I don't remember having heroes back then. I do remember liking Jimmy Carter a lot, but I wouldn't say I thought of him as a hero until after he wasn't President anymore. I also remember admiring Mother Teresa.
10. How was your bedroom decorated?
When I was a real little kid, I don't think there was a theme. I was around 12, I think, when I got the "hippy wallpaper," as my mother called it. It had hot pink, green and yellow flowers and said "love," "peace" and I don't remember what else on it. I had a hot pink mushroom-looking lamp and, well, it was the '70s. Use your imagination. Funny thing about the wallpaper is that I covered most of it with posters/pictures of Elton John & David Cassidy.

Friday's Feast

Trivial Pursuit. The way I like to play it, I don't know if it could be considered a board game. I just like to read the questions & keep score via who gets the most right.

How's the weather been in your area lately? Hot and dry? Wet and muggy? Stormy? Beautiful?
It's been a little muggy, but I'm not complaining (this time). It could be worse. We could be getting our usual rain, or snow.

Salad
Do you consider yourself an emotional person? What types of emotions do you experience most often?
I'm extremely emotional. In fact, right now I'm on the verge of tears because of the very upsetting night I had at work. But I was trying to be a happy, cheery person so I kept it all in when I was there. Aside from tonight, and the bad patch a few weeks ago, I'm basically a happy person and the emotions I experience the most go along with my positive outlook on life. Is lust considered an emotion? If it is, I feel that a lot as well. ;)
