Anyway, I wanted to do one more meme before I went to bed (I'm addicted, ya know) so since I didn't do it last week I'm doing The Midweek Music Meme now.
What songs remind you of summertime, even at other times of the year, and why?
Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison
Even though there's a sad part about him not being with the girl anymore, it's so upbeat and fun and, well, summery. "Laughin and a runnin, skippin and a jumpin in the misty mornin fog" "Goin down the old man river, with a transistor radio standin in the sunlight laughin" "Makin love in the green grass, behind the stadium with you" ... That just says summer to me.
