War Games made the list because it's the movie that got me interested in computers. Of course there are other reasons as well. It's just a good movie, albeit a bit preachy at times. My favorite scene is after Jennifer learns David changed her grade after all and she says "You gave me a D?"
Why didn't Speed make my Top 20 list? I don't know exactly. All thrillers should be this good. It's action-packed from beginning to end, and it's got just about everything a good movie needs. I can't really pick a favorite scene, though. I do think it's funny in the beginning when a woman stuck in the elevator is concerned about missing a shoe.
